A native to California, Tim’s first ten years of church-planting ministry started as the Lead Pastor of Reality LA in 2006, a thriving church in the heart of Hollywood, CA before moving to the UK in 2016. These churches are a part of the Reality family of churches, a movement committed to relational church planting and serving the broader body of Christ.

Tim’s first two books, Better: How Jesus Satisfies the Search for Meaning and The Truth about Lies, were projects which came from lessons learned while living and pastoring in Los Angeles. Pastor Tim and his wife Lindsey care deeply about the ministry of the local church in major urban centres and seek to devote themselves to helping churches begin and flourish in their mission to share and reflect the gospel.

Josh Crain is the senior pastor of The Meeting House, a multisite church in Pennsylvania. Josh and his wife, Emily, have been married since 2003 and have two young children: Jack (4 years old) and William (1 year old). They also have a small dog named Ella who’s family status has decreased significantly since the birth of their sons.

At one time Josh’s hobbies included scuba diving, reading philosophy, and running. These days he is much more likely to be found playing with Legos, reading children’s books, or pretending to be Lex Luthor so that his son Jack can be Superman.

Jeff grew up in New York, and has spent the last twenty years in just two churches. He has served as a solo pastor, assistant pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor (every position requires some part time janitorial responsibilities!) Jeff has been married to Debbie for over 30 years. They have four children (three sons and a daughter) and a growing list of in-laws.

Jonny grew up in Iowa, and as a pastor’s kid he has been on the ministry scene his entire life. He is Jeff’s associate pastor with wide ranging responsibilities including youth, college, preaching, and of course, some janitorial responsibilities! Jonny has been married to Kayla for almost 9 years and they also have four children–three sons and a daughter.

Jeff and Jonny are passionate about encouraging pastors in small and smaller churches and are encouraged to be connecting with many of them across the country. Their goal is to create an online network of 200church pastors who will support and encourage one another.

Kurt Willems (M.Div., Fresno Pacific) is the founding pastor of Pangea. He is also a graduate student at the University of Washington focusing on early Christianity, Greco-Roman Religions, and Classical Languages. Kurt writes for various print and online publications including his site The Pangea Blog and is also on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. His latest project is The Paulcast: A Podcast All About the Apostle Paul, which has been featured on iTunes “new and noteworthy” for spirituality & religion podcasts.

Through his Patheos blog, Kurt writes broadly on themes related to Anabaptism within post-Christendom. Inviting the church to see the beauty of a nonviolent Jesus and the subversive nature of God’s Kingdom are just some of the key issues he engages. Kurt also utilizes the blogosphere to wrestle with various other theological, missional, formational, and cultural topics. Through speaking and writing, he urges others to both know and follow the resurrected Jesus on a countercultural mission of love.

Prior to planting Pangea, Kurt served in various pastoral capacities, including student ministries. He and his wife Lauren (special education teacher) moved to Seattle in the summer of 2013. They are the founding church planting couple, along with their daughter Lydia and puppies Sadie & Mylee.

jasonJason became a Christian aged 17 and soon after graduated with a degree in Theology from the London School of theology in 1991. He is currently a governor and trustee of the London School of Theology.

He then went on to qualify as a high teacher in Religious Education, but moved quickly into financial services. He had a 10-year career as an investment broker and investment adviser in the City of London. This allowed him to be bi-vocational with his wife Bev and help with several church plants in his denomination the Association of Vineyard Churches.

He and his wife Bev planted the church they still currently lead on the edge of London in 1997. Jason is now the full time pastor of that church having left his financial services role in 2000. Jason completed a doctor of ministry degree in theology and leadership in 2006 and is close to completing a PhD in theology at Kings College London. His PhD makes an account of the relationship of Evangelical belief and practice with capitalism and then highlights the possibilities for Pentecostal Charismatics as a response to that relationship.

He and his wife oversee church planting for their denomination in London. Jason also leads the church planting training track for his denomination. Jason is the lead mentor for an international doctor of ministry in leadership for George Fox Seminary.

Jason regularly teaches at churches, denominational conferences, and seminaries on issues of church, culture and leadership.
